Luas Keeping You Safe

Your personal safety is a priority when you travel with Luas. Luas Security Officers and other staff work on an ongoing basis in conjunction with the Gardaí to keep you safe while travelling with us.

While most passengers respect others sometimes other passengers’ behaviour can be intimidating, and you need to contact us to let us know. When you witness anti-social behaviour, you may not want to draw attention to yourself by calling us or by pressing the Emergency Help Intercoms located beside the door on all trams and beside the Ticket Machines at all Stops.

For this reason, we want to remind Luas customers of the three ways to discreetly report incidents of anti-social behaviour to us in real time.

-        Luas App: Click the “Report” icon to report details of what you see and hear.

-        WhatsApp: Send a message to 087 055 5715.

-        Text: Simply text "Luas" to 51444, standard rates apply.

When reporting, if possible, please include details such as the tram number and/or the Stop name to help us address the issue more efficiently.

Our goal is to keep you safe on your journey, and your assistance in reporting any anti-social behaviour incidents is crucial.

We encourage you to save your preferred contact method today for quick and easy reporting. Remember, for emergencies always phone 112 or 999.

Thank you for your cooperation in making Luas a safe and enjoyable mode of transportation.
