Adults and Children don’t need to carry a Photo Identity Card when travelling with 7 Day tickets. Young Adults must carry a valid Young Adult TFI Leap Card as ID when travelling with 7 Day tickets. Students must carry a valid Student ID in the form of a Student TFI Leap Card* when travelling with 7 Day tickets. Holders of Young Adult or Student TFI Leap Cards must write the card number in the space provided on the ticket. If the ID number on the ticket does not match the ID number on the Young Adult or Student TFI Leap Card, the ticket is not valid, and you will be issued a Standard Fare Notice for €100.*
7 Day tickets are valid for an unlimited number of trips for 7 consecutive days within the chosen zones.
7 Day Flexi tickets allow unlimited travel across both lines for 7 days from and including the date of purchase.

* As per the terms and conditions of using a 7 or 30 Day student ticket, a Young Adult or Student TFI Leap Card is the only valid form of identification that will be accepted by Luas. Failure to present a valid Young Adult or Student TFI Leap Card when using a 7 or 30 Day Student ticket will result in a Standard Fare Notice Penalty.

Children aged 4 to 18 years, Young Adults aged 19 to 23 years (carrying a valid Young Adult TFI Leap Card), and Students (carrying a valid Student TFI Leap Card) benefit from reduced fares. Children aged 0 to 4 years inclusive travel free on Luas but must be accompanied by a paying passenger.
